Ladies and gentlemen, the drought is over — orders are finally back in the BrickLink store. In this vlog I’m back in the LEGO room in Wellington, showing what a busy week actually looks like when you’re trying to grow a reselling business with limited space. I run through what we’ve been sorting, what we’re washing/cleaning, what’s getting flicked off in bulk (yep… a stack of instructions I couldn’t be bothered listing), and how I’m thinking about expanding storage without turning the whole setup into a nightmare to pick from. We also pack some chunky orders — including a big one around 217 lots / 822 items — and I talk through what’s selling as soon as it hits the store (hello Technic plates). I also take you through a bunch of our used LEGO sorting categories (plates, tiles, Technic, minifig parts, nature, snot/brackets, round parts, etc.) and the constant battle that is minifigure heads. I share a method I’m testing to streamline minifig part sorting, plus my BrickStore workflow for consolidating uploads: copying price/comment/remark (not quantity), using remarks for locations, and doing quick price checks with the last 6 months average. We finish off looking at sales reports in BrickFreedom — BrickLink was down, BrickOwl was up — which honestly changed my thinking about sticking with both platforms.
