Well, hello and welcome in — this vlog is basically a behind-the-scenes catch-up filmed over about three weeks as we push our BrickLink store closer to 1000 orders. I take you through what’s been happening in the room (yes, the store is still squished into the bedroom/wardrobe setup), how our pick path is working, and what it looks like when we’re picking big orders like 318 lots / 552 items in under an hour. The big theme as always is space: more organizers, more labeling, more capacity… and somehow still not enough room. I also show what we’ve been uploading and sorting: new parts from parting out sets (including the tuxedo cats), bulk minifigure parts from a regular supplier, and a solid chunk of masonry bricks counted into lots. On the packing side, I run through how I ship (simple mailers, snaplock bags, bubble wrap, business cards, and post shop drop-offs), plus why I still mostly do orders one-by-one instead of multi-order picking. On top of that, we’ve got a Brickstore scanning issue I’m still trying to solve, a quick look at our podcast setup for Brick by Brick, and a shout-out to a NZ creator product that genuinely helps with display/storage. Overall takeaway: keep uploading equals more orders — but balancing a part-time store with full-time work is the real game.
