This week’s BrickLink store vlog kicked off with a bit of momentum — the latest vlog went up, the subs and views jumped, and then the store decided to get busy. I walked through a stack of orders (including a 75-lot plate-heavy one) and showed how I’m using the customised display in BrickLink to add item counts and lot counts, which makes it way easier to eyeball what you’re actually dealing with. The big takeaway: the more you upload, the more chances you’ve got of landing those chunky, satisfying orders — and yep, used plates absolutely moved after being a focus last week. From there it was all behind-the-scenes: minifigure-heavy orders, building figs from parts using “What the Fig”, and even getting some help in the store (with a bit of “raiding” of parts for personal builds). I also shared a couple of money-saving and time-saving ideas — like sourcing free bubble wrap from local businesses, and using BrickFreedom to automatically show remaining quantities while picking. And then… the order disaster: a shelf wobble, a catch, and a partial spill into the used plates box. Could’ve been way worse, but it still meant repacking and slowing down a monster order (232+ lots, 1,150+ items).
