About This Video

We’ve got an announcement people — and no, it’s not the end of LEGO selling on BrickLink. It’s the end of our current location. In this vlog I give you one final look at our Wellington setup before we move house in just over three weeks, and I explain why we’re doing it: the store has completely taken over the lounge, so we’re heading somewhere with more space and proper storage. The goal is a dedicated BrickLink room, a bigger workspace, and way more behind-the-scenes content on what it actually takes to run a reselling store. I also start trialling a few format changes for the vlogs (tip of the week, haul/find of the week, and order of the week), and we get stuck into a big sorting day using our 9L tubs to build up categories before splitting into individual lots. We upload just the plates from one batch — a bit over 1,000 pieces for about $160 value — and they start selling almost immediately. We hit a massive milestone of 50,000 items in the store, part out more Star Wars (Sith Infiltrators), and I show a great minifig-parts-heavy order where a single helmet is worth $10. We also grab Captain Rex Microfighters, crack open minifigure boxes… and I learn the hard way not to use scissors near a cape.
