About This Video

This week’s vlog is a bit of a milestone for us at Kiwi Brick Exchange — we’ve officially been selling LEGO on BrickLink for one whole year. I’m genuinely stoked with how things are going, so we’re doing a little celebration and running a Star Wars BrickHeadz giveaway (Ahsoka Tano, Commander Cody, and a Tusken Raider). To enter, all you need to do is comment where you’re watching from, and we’ll be drawing the winner next week. On the store side, I’m packing a chunky space-themed order (around 500 parts) and then taking you through a proper store tour — messy reality and all. We’ve scored free drawers off Marketplace, noticed more and more empty/half-empty storage popping up (which is a good problem), and I talk through what I’m not bothering to list anymore (thicker used parts) because time is tight running this part-time. The big focus this week is a used bulk lot we picked up for $60 that BrickLink averages out around $565 — so I’m trialling a different workflow: building a BrickStore file, sorting by colour, then uploading lot-by-lot while consolidating where I can. By the end, I’m seriously thinking “expansion time?” because drawers are filling and the room layout is starting to feel like the limit again. I measure up options, talk lighting/picking issues, and ask you lot for tips — because I’ve hit a bit of a wall getting parts into the store consistently when good deals are hard to find.
