This week’s vlog is basically store expansion mode while the wifey and the wee one are away, which means I’ve taken over the bedroom, the 3D printer is humming in the background, and I’m trying to squeeze every last bit of efficiency out of our setup. We’ve had a huge run of orders (about 20 in 7 days) off the back of recent big uploads, so the focus is picking, packing, and pushing more sorted bulk through the system—especially plates, because it’s been super plate-heavy lately. I also show how we’re rearranging drawer units, shifting oversized bins under the desk, and planning a few more organizers to create space to expand (because we’re pretty much always out of space). I also break down what we actually do as LEGO resellers: parting out new sealed sets, and sorting used bulk—then uploading everything to BrickLink and BrickOwl with our inventory synced through BrickFreedom. I talk through our storage philosophy (consolidated vs unconsolidated) and the “squish method” for maximizing drawer value, because organizers aren’t cheap and space is tight. We also hit a market, debrief what sold (lots of foot traffic, not heaps of big buys), and I share how I track minifig displays and reconcile missing figs back into BrickStore. Plus: we launched the Brick by Brick podcast, and I’m still on the hunt for a proper counting scale after selling 200 candles and realizing manual counting is not the dream.
