About This Video

This week’s vlog is a proper behind-the-scenes look at what it actually takes to keep a BrickLink store moving. I kicked things off the glamorous way… sorting Technic pins. Normally I don’t get too excited about pins, but part 43093 absolutely surprised me when I checked the price guide (and we had 16 of them). From there it was more of the real day-to-day: working through a big haul that was already kinda grouped by part type, pushing hard to lift item count and lot count, and trying to get as much uploaded as possible. I also tested a 3D printed LEGO sorter to smash down the “round” category faster. It did a decent job of dropping most of the 1x1 rounds down to the bottom, but I’ll be honest—if I was designing it myself I’d tweak the hole sizes because it’s useful, but not perfect. Alongside that, I played around with a few other 3D printed prototypes (including a brick-compatible drawer idea), cleared the bench for a new part-out (two wreath sets on discount), and shared a few random-but-great finds like a $17 pie piece and an $11 trans-dark blue 4x8 plate. To finish the week, I set up a challenge for next vlog: running the store on a strict 9–5 “full-time” schedule and tracking what we actually get done—uploads, orders, and the real time cost of it all.
