In this video I’m back in one of my absolute favourite places to browse in London: the Harrods Food Halls. I take you around to see what summer bits they’ve got in, from grab-and-go sandwiches and salads to the really indulgent treats (and yes, I do have to remind myself not to spend too much money in the chocolate section). It’s actually surprisingly quiet when I’m there, so it’s a really nice time to properly look at everything without feeling rushed. I chat through some of the more “Harrods” options like lobster thermidor mac and cheese, beef Wellington by weight, and all the different picnic-style bits. Then I head to the caviar section because it’s honestly fascinating (and slightly terrifying) seeing the prices—there are tins well into the hundreds of pounds, including golden caviar, and I talk about how it’s a classic pairing with champagne if you’re going all out. To finish, I pick up a proper lunch: their chipotle chicken Caesar salad, which looked really generous on the chicken and just a great grab-and-go option. I also share my honest thoughts on what’s worth it, what’s just “nice to look at”, and how Harrods compares to places like M&S for variety and flavour.
