In this video I’m flying Qatar Airways Business Class in the QSuite from Doha to Heathrow, and I finally got to try their caviar service in the sky. It was about 9:30 in the morning, so yes… this was basically my “breakfast”, and I thought it would be fun to vlog something a little bit different. I’d heard great things, but I’d never actually had the caviar service on Qatar before, and it’s only available on certain routes and at certain times of day. I walk you through exactly what you get: a mother-of-pearl spoon (because you’re not meant to use metal), classic “Barry” caviar (30g tin), Malossol-style salmon, chives, separated egg yolk and egg white (love that because I hate egg whites), sour cream, bellinis, and then Melba toast (which they initially forgot, but brought out after). I’m honest about the flavour too—this caviar was really quite salty compared to other caviars I’ve tried, and I wasn’t 100% sure I preferred it, which might be controversial. That said, it’s a super bougie, quirky experience, the crew were genuinely lovely, and if you’re in business class you may as well make the most of it—especially when they’ll top you up with more caviar if they’ve got it available.
