Hi guys — in this video I’m having afternoon tea at the Fairmont Windsor Park Hotel, a 5-star luxury spa hotel right on the edge of Windsor Great Park. It’s my first time visiting and it genuinely felt like such a relaxing, lovely, luxurious escape (and it’s also within easy reach of Heathrow and Central London). Afternoon tea here is £60 per person, with the option to pay extra if you want Brut or Rosé sparkling wine, and it includes unlimited tea, coffee, and even hot chocolate. I also tried a mocktail they made up for me, which was really lovely, but it wasn’t included in the main afternoon tea. I take you through the full savoury-to-sweet lineup and give you my honest thoughts. The savouries were the standout for me — especially the hot smoked salmon with lemon and dill cream cheese on a brioche roll, and the pumpkin (butternut squash) tart with goat’s cheese (and I’m not usually a fan of goat’s cheese, but this was delicate and a definite win). The egg mayo was okay rather than a favourite, but I loved how they incorporated different flavours through the different breads. We also had a plain scone plus a candied one (cherry and mango), with clotted cream that was honestly gorgeous — smooth, shiny, room temperature, and so spreadable (you guys know I’m heavy on the clotted cream). On the sweet side, I enjoyed the chocolate and caramel log most, but overall I’d say the savouries won over the sweets this time. The staff were exceptional too, and the personal touch of them using my first name really mattered.
