In this video I popped into Bayley & Sage in Sloane Square (near Victoria) to see if it really is London’s poshest farm shop — and honestly, it does look gorgeous. The deli is really aesthetically laid out, it’s nice and chilled inside, and even though it feels quite small at first, once you get walking around you realise you can actually pick up a bit of everything: fresh produce, bakery bits, antipasti, cheese, ready meals, and more. But let’s talk price, because… my god. I was seeing things like asparagus for £9, cauliflower nearly £6, and some absolutely wild per-kilo pricing in the antipasti section (I’m looking at you, £35/kg crispy cherry tomatoes and £25/kg garlic). It’s definitely a “if you’ve got money to burn” kind of place — although to be fair, it is Sloane Square, so you are paying for premium anyway. I couldn’t leave without a treat, so I grabbed two Portuguese tarts for £1.50 each (we all know I’m not walking out with just one). Staff were genuinely lovely, the vibe wasn’t stuffy at all, and I’d actually come back — just, bring your credit card.
