What’s up everyone? In this video I’m officially announcing that I’m hosting the Backlist Readathon again—March 16th through March 22nd, 2026. Fair warning: my house is a mess because we’re literally moving tomorrow, so this is the last time you’ll see me in this house. The fun part is that when the readathon actually happens, I’ll be in the new place, and I’m planning to vlog throughout the week so you can see what reading (and real life) looks like during the chaos. If you’re new here, the Backlist Readathon is all about reading books that aren’t new releases—anything published before the current year counts. I love it because it helps free up my TBR and pulls me away from “the new and the shiny,” and it works for every genre and every mood. This year I’m co-hosting with Beth (she’s hilarious and so entertaining), and we’ve got five optional prompts: a character older than you, a book published/popular in 2016, an established author’s debut, a book from a phase you’ve outgrown, and a book outside your comfort genre. You can do all the prompts, one prompt, or none—double up if you want—and hang out with us on Discord for sprints, recs, and chatting all week.
