DEEP Snow Camp in Montana

About This Video

I finally found the good stuff—deep snow up here in Montana’s Swan Valley—and I’m giving you a quick morning look at what the night turned into. I’m talking “spork disappears” depth. I’m using my highly scientific measuring device (an UCO spork) to show just how much we got, and it’s legit up to the bottom of my knee in spots. The big takeaway from this one is how the setup handled an actual snow dump. My Truma heater ran all night and kept it about 70° inside, which is exactly why I trust that system when Mother Nature decides to answer. I’m also running a Keegan Builds Starlink mount and it’s working great—had to kick on heating mode to melt snow off the dish since it’s sitting flat, but the dish heat straight-up clears it. The wild part is my awning… I have no idea how it’s still standing with the angle it’s at, and I’m probably pushing it to the max. OD (my labradoodle) is still inside recharging after yesterday, and I’m getting back to business—full video drop coming Sunday.
