About This Video

What’s up, fellow builders? In this video I’m checking out the KK Model RX-79[G] Slave Wraith (Parachute Pack) with my usual approach: no hype, no bias. I focus on the stuff that actually matters when you’re deciding if a bootleg/third-party kit is worth your time—plastic quality, color separation, how the build feels, and whether the final result holds up once it’s on the shelf. Verdict time: the plastic quality here is excellent. It feels solid in the hands—no weird softness and no brittle parts—so right away it feels like a kit that was made with care. Color separation is also impressive and very close to the original Bandai release, meaning it already looks good straight out of the box. The build itself is a breeze: parts fit well, the instructions are easy to follow, and nothing slows you down or frustrates you. You don’t get foil stickers, but you do get water slide decals, and for me that’s a win because they look cleaner and elevate the finished build. Articulation is limited like the Bandai original, so don’t expect extreme poses, but the joints are surprisingly good and hold poses with confidence. Overall, it’s simple, solid, and absolutely worth building.
