About This Video

What’s up, fellow builders? In this video I unbox, build, and review the SUPA Model 1/100 “MG” Barbatos—a bootleg copy of Bandai’s Barbatos from Iron-Blooded Orphans Season 1. I go through the build experience and focus on the stuff you actually want to know before buying: plastic quality, fitting, articulation, and what you’re really getting for the price. For my verdict, the plastic is honestly just average—workable, not premium, not terrible—and the build feels the same way. The colors look great straight out of the box, which helps it pop even before detailing, and the articulation is impressive enough to pull off dynamic poses. Joint strength is solid right now, but I can see the joints loosening over time, especially if you pose your kits often. The rough side is fitment: there are quite a few fitting issues around the body, so expect adjustments like sanding or tightening. You do get both clear stickers and water slide decals, which is a nice bonus, and overall it’s affordable—good value if you’re on a budget or want a Barbatos to experiment on, as long as you’re ready to put in extra work.
