What’s up, fellow builders? In this video I dive into the CHANGLONG RG Hi-Nu—another bootleg walking in the shadow of the legendary RG Hi-Nu. The big question I wanted to answer was simple: is this just another copy riding the hype, or does CHANGLONG actually bring something worth your time and money? So I focused on the stuff that matters in an RG-style build—plastic feel, color separation, metallic parts, fit, tolerances, gimmicks, articulation, and whether it stays solid once everything is assembled. Verdict time: the plastic quality surprised me in a good way. It feels premium and leans toward a matte finish, so it looks more refined and less toy-like straight out of the box. The colors pop (vibrant blues, crisp whites), the metallic details are noticeably shiny and clean, and the overall shelf presence is strong even without paint. The build experience was great too—everything fit properly, tolerances felt consistent, gimmicks and moving parts worked smoothly, and I didn’t deal with loose parts. Just keep in mind: it’s still an RG build with a lot of small pieces, so patience is key. My main downside is the decals—no waterslides, only clear stickers. Still, as a bootleg option, this one deserves serious consideration.
