Lightroom is insanely powerful, but the default workflow can be weirdly slow—mostly because you’re constantly bouncing between a mouse and a bunch of keyboard shortcuts that don’t feel intuitive (and honestly, I can’t remember half of them). In this video I show how I’ve been speeding things up by replacing a lot of those shortcuts with the Logitech MX Creative Console setup, so I can keep my right hand on the mouse and stay in that editing flow. I walk through how I’ve mapped my MX Master mouse in Logi Options Plus for the stuff I do nonstop: moving back and forth between photos, toggling before/after, and using the horizontal scroll to fly through the filmstrip. Then I show the MX Creative Dial + Action Ring combo, which lets me adjust things like exposure, highlights, etc. in a way that keeps my eyes on the image instead of hunting sliders on the right panel. Finally, the MX Creative Keypad is the big one for me—virtual copies, presets, flags/ratings, and even native Lightroom actions can all live on a simple button grid (with multiple pages). One important FYI: because it’s a third-party integration, an Adobe update may occasionally mean you need to remap buttons in Options Plus.
