About This Video

In this video I show you how I fix dog reactivity so fast it feels illegal—without treats, without force, and without fancy tools. The first thing I teach is relaxation: internal, external, emotional, and mental. If you’re walking around thinking “he’s going to explode,” you’re already setting the explosion up. I want you calm, confident, and physically relaxed on the leash—because most people say “I trust you” while gripping the leash like they don’t. Then I walk you through my simple communication system: correction, reward, direction. The correction is one clear, firm “Nope” (100% once), not “no no no” (5% repeated). Reward is calm praise (“good boy”), and direction is a clear “this way.” I also show the technical piece that changes everything: pull the leash to the side to bring your dog back to you—don’t yank, don’t wrestle 80 lbs head-on. And the real secret is timing: correct before your dog is 100% committed to the reaction. Finally, I explain why I don’t rely on food: you are the ultimate reward. Dogs love us in a way you can’t put into words, and I use that connection as the motivation to ignore triggers and choose me instead.
