Listerine published a cookbook (it was the 1980s, wild times) and I tried one of the recipes! The Spicy Cookbook is a treasure trove of highly flavorful dishes, including Chili Cornbread, Garlic Dill Pickles, and this Jalapeño Soufflé. JALAPEÑO SOUFFLÉ (from The Spicy Cookbook, 1982) Grated Parmesan cheese 4 eggs 1/3c whipping cream or half and half 4oz brick cheese, cut into cubes 3oz cream cheese, softened, cut into cubes 1/4c grated parmesan cheese 2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and cut into pieces Grease 1qt soufflé dish and coat with parmesan cheese. Process remaining ingredients at high speed in blender for 30 seconds. Pour into soufflé dish. Bake at 450 until set, 35 to 40 minutes.
