Serve with fresh vegetables AUNT ORPHA'S CHERRY COBBLER 1c sugar 1c milk 2tsp baking powder pinch of salt 1 3/4c flour 1c cherries additional 1 1/2c cherries additional 1c sugar small lump of butter 2c boiling water Mix first 6 ingredients together and put in a greased 9x13x2 inch pan. Cover with additional 1 1/2c cherries, additional 1c sugar, lump of butter, and 2c boiling water. Bake uncovered at 350 for 1 hour. BROCCOLI CORN BAKE 1 - 10oz pkg frozen broccoli, thawed 1 - 14oz can creamed corn 1/2t salt 1/4c cracker crumbs 2T butter, melted and cooled 1T dried minced onion dash of pepper For topping: 2T melted butter 1/4c cracker crumbs Combine the first 8 ingredients. Pour mixture into a 1.5 quart casserole dish. Blend together topping ingredients, and sprinkle over casserole.
