Mix flour and milk in cooker 2. Add other ingredients EXCEPT light cream 3. Cook on low for 7 hours, or on automatic for 4 hours (I cooked for 4 hours on low) SPINACH CASSEROLE (pg 124) 2c medium noodles 2 packages frozen chopped spinach, slightly thawed 1/2c chopped onion 1c grated Cheddar or Swiss cheese 1/4c butter or margarine 1/8tsp nutmeg 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1. Cook noodles until just slightly tender; drain 2. Combine all ingredients in cooker 3. Cook on high for 1 hour, then switch to low for 4 to 5 hours. Or cook on automatic for 3 to 4 hours (I cooked for 1 hour on high and then 1 hour 45 minutes on low) RICE PUDDING (pg 136) 2 1/2c cooked rice 1 - 12oz can evaporated milk 2/3c brown sugar 3Tbsp butter or margarine 3 eggs, beaten 1tsp vanilla 1/2tsp nutmeg 1/2tsp cinnamon 1/2c raisins or chopped dates 1. Grease cooker well 2. Combine all ingredients in cooker and mix thoroughly 3.
