Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Cookbook: https://amzn.to/3L0hQki 1970s Cookbooks & Recipes Playlist: https://bit.ly/3MHFCCV ------------------------------ Timestamps 0:00 Intro 0:04 Scrooge Mc Duck's Blueberry Crunch 2:51 Cookbook talk - Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Cookbook 8:00 taste test ------------------------------ SCROOGE MCDUCK'S BLUEBERRY CRUNCH (from Walt Disney's Mickey Mouse Cookbook, 1975) Butter for greasing casserole dish 2c corn flakes 2c blueberries 1/2c sugar 1/4c water 1Tbsp lemon juice 2Tbsp butter or margarine, melted 1. Preheat oven to 375. Grease a 1.5qt baking dish with butter and set aside. 2. Put the corn flakes on a piece of waxed paper (I used a Ziploc bag) and crush them into little pieces with the bottom of a glass. Set aside. 3. Wash the blueberries and put them in a medium saucepan. Add the sugar, water, and lemon juice. Cover and cook for 5 minutes over low heat. 4. Pour half of the blueberry mixture into the baking dish and top with half of the crushed cornflakes. Pour the rest of the blueberry mixture into the baking dish, then top with the rest of the crushed cornflakes. Drizzle melted butter over the top. 5.Bake for 25 minutes.
