Heat and stir. BARBECUED FRANK BAKE 1/4c chopped onion Fat 1/2c water 1/3c ketchup 3Tbsp vinegar 2tsp sugar 2tsp Worcestershire sauce 1 1/2tsp prepared mustard 1tsp paprika 1/4tsp salt dash pepper 8 to 10 frankfurters Cook onion in hot fat until tender but not brown. Add remaining ingredients, except frankfurters. Simmer 15 minutes. Split frankfurters lengthwise and place cut side down in a shallow pan. Pour sauce over. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) for 15 minutes. CREAM FRIED POTATOES 3 medium potatoes (about 1lb), peeled, cubed, and cooked (tender but not falling apart) 1/2c heavy cream 1Tbsp butter pinch of salt In a skillet, bring cream, butter, and salt to a simmer. Add potatoes and spread out in single layer. Cover and cook for 10 minutes. Uncover and continue to cook potatoes over medium heat for about 20 minutes. Some cream will absorb into potatoes. Remaining cream will begin to separate and potatoes will begin to brown. ------------------------------ TIMESTAMPS 0:00 Intro 1:50 Behind the Scenes kitchen sneak peek 2:16 Spicy Pineapple Syrup 5:05 Barbecued Frank Bake 7:35 Cream Fried Potatoes 14:16 Toasted Buns Parmesan 15:49 Plating and taste test 20:20 Cookbook Chat - Better Homes and Gardens cookbooks through the decades! ------------------------------ MY FAV KITCHEN GEAR - seriously, I use this stuff ALL the time: - Twist Whisk: https://amzn.to/3tDvFPo - Geometry kitchen towels: https://www.geometry.house/?ref=AnnaB15 - use my link for 15% off! - 1/4 Sheet Pans (to hold my prepped ingredients!): https://amzn.to/46S9IKE - Ove Glove: https://amzn.to/3CkmyV5 - Small offset spatula: https://amzn.to/3GB9Rb7 - OXO Mini Angled Measuring Cup: https://amzn.to/3Gx2osz - GIR Silicone Spatula: https://amzn.to/3ImvNIs ------------------------------ DISCLAIMER: Links included above may be affiliate links.
