Dear 6y'o me, I'm nowhere near perfect today - although I'm now more "grown-up" - but that's okay, we're growing together. Continue being you. Love, Cherie I've broken down 22 life lessons into these chapters: 02:11 CHAPTER 1 Present, Mindful, Graceful, Slow Living. 05:36 CHAPTER 2 Chase Your Dreams, Be You, Fearlessly. 12:07 CHAPTER 3 Keep Your Mind, Heart & Soul Open To Learning. 13:24 CHAPTER 4 Stable, Strong, Steady Relationships. 17:20 CHAPTER 5 Get Uncomfortable, For Growth. 20:44 CHAPTER 6 Remember What's Truly Important. Thank you for watching this video full of wisdom, fairy dust & maturity powder. IMPORTANT NOTE: um at 26:06 I meant to type "EXTERNAL"....not "ETERNAL"......lmao.

About This Video

In this video, I’m basically writing a little letter to my younger self — 22 life lessons from 22 years of living (and yes, my 23rd birthday just passed, so the timing felt right). I break everything into chapters: being present and mindful, chasing your dreams fearlessly, staying open to learning, building stable relationships, getting uncomfortable for growth, and remembering what actually matters. I also talk about how funny it is that when you’re young, you think adults “don’t know anything”… and then you grow up and realize the cycle just keeps repeating. A huge theme is slowing down. I’ve learned to stop rushing through life — even small things like walking to the grocery store, cooking, editing, or doing skincare — because slowing down makes me more grateful and grounded. I also share why you can’t let fear of what people think stop you (I literally delayed starting YouTube for years because I thought it was “embarrassing”). And I’m really honest about how growth usually comes from the messy, uncomfortable, awkward parts — the moments you regret, the moments you feel guilty, the moments you’d rather forget. I also talk a lot about values: health is wealth (physical and mental), your looks should be the least interesting thing about you, and you should never place your self-worth on items, numbers, grades, or any superficial metric. At the end of the day, I just want you to feel more anchored, more you, and a little more okay with growing slowly.
