Good morning guys—this vlog is basically my fully packed, super walkable one-day San Antonio itinerary where we did a lot of walking and (most importantly) a lot of eating. I started the day with breakfast at La Panadería and had the best time trying their pastries—so good and so yummy, and I loved that it wasn’t overly sweet. After that, we headed to The Alamo for a tour, and I genuinely learned a lot about the history there, so it wasn’t just a “photo stop” kind of thing. From there, we went straight into food mode at Historic Market Square (the biggest Market Square in America!), and the vibe was so fun—guitar music, celebrations, and just a really lively atmosphere. We ate at Mi Tierra and I was honestly so full I felt like I was going to explode, but it was worth it—best Mexican food ever, and it made me realize why nacho cheese is actually awesome (the ones in Singapore are… not it). Later, we cooled down at Hotel Emma at the Pearl (we were sweating so much), grabbed treats, and took an afternoon nap before ending the day with Pinkerton’s BBQ—juicy meat, jalapeño cheese rice, pickles, and sauce—then a pretty night walk along the River Walk with all the lights.
