Last week's video focused on the four colour scrappy plaid quilt, but what if we changed some things? Can we use 3 colours? or two colours? Or change the size? About This Video

In this video I’m answering all the “what if…?” questions that came in after my four-colour Scrappy Plaid Quilt tutorial. If you haven’t grabbed the original free Scrappy Plaid pattern yet, it’s on my website, and this episode is all about giving you permission (and a plan) to tweak it to fit your scraps, your style, and the size you actually want to make. We walk through colour options first: yes, you can make it three colours, two colours (it starts to feel a bit more traditional/argyle), and even one colour… but honestly, I don’t recommend the single-colour version. The whole point is that gorgeous illusion of colour sitting “in front” or “behind,” and it’s worth digging for at least one more colour in your scrap bins. Then I talk sizing: if you’ve got 2 1/2" strips, don’t cut them down—just resize the block (your block finishes at 6 1/2"), and adjust the bricks accordingly. Finally, I share my thoughts on resizing for a baby quilt and why layout matters if you want those darker chains to land neatly in the corners, plus some mockups for using a coloured or dark background (light blue is my favourite… and yes, I went full dill-pickle chartreuse too).
