In this video I’m sharing my current everyday makeup bag for March 2023—aka the bag I keep packed with products I already know work for me. My monthly makeup basket is where I test, declutter, and play around, but this makeup bag is my “no surprises” lineup for days when I’m in a makeup rut, I’m rushing, or I need to grab one bag for travel. I’m one of those people who will literally wash my makeup off if it’s not turning out, so this setup helps me avoid that whole situation. I walk through why I keep multiple base options (I’m basically covering four different makeup moods/textures), and how I pair products so everything looks cohesive—especially when I’m doing a sheer base and don’t want opaque cheek products sitting weird on top. I also show how I mix the Estée Lauder Futurist Hydra Rescue (which can oxidize and runs too orange on me) with the super pale, gray-toned Missha BB Cream to get a better match. From there it’s my go-to concealer/corrector routine, bronzer and blush options (muted rosy tones plus a pop if I want it), Hourglass powder, a soft highlight, simple eyes, brows, and my go-to lip combo. The takeaway: this is a fully functional “everyday to elevated” kit where everything builds together, so I can get out the door fast and still feel like my makeup looks right.
