In today’s GRWM, I’m doing my makeup for the day and catching you up on why my posting schedule has been… a mess. I’ve been sick (first a cold that would not quit, and now it’s basically allergies), I went a full month without a single day off, and on top of my regular job I’ve had Army on weekends (and even some weekdays). I’m also taking a course before work to expand what I can do at my job, so editing time has been basically nonexistent. The plan is to start uploading again, but you’ll see some “catch-up” where my March/April videos (beauty baskets/declutters, everyday makeup bags, and empties/budget) go up on the same day. Makeup-wise, I keep it pretty skin-like: a thin layer of Bobbi Brown Face Base, MAC Studio Radiance Face & Body, then my usual brow routine (Anastasia Brow Powder + NYX Brow Glue + a pencil to fix what I inevitably overdo). I also talk about my skin freaking out lately—Jones Road foundation gave me cystic acne, and EltaMD sunscreen gave me hard under-the-skin lumps, so I’m officially back on my Asian sunscreen kick. For the look, I test the Chanel Tissé Essential quad (dusty, but the finished eye is solid), add a touch of Sephora “Twinkle Twinkle,” warm things up with Hourglass + Chanel, and finish with my current mascara favorite (Saie) plus a Peripera stain and a “designated to get gross” NYX clear gloss.
