Imagine turning on your LG Smart TV and everything looks perfect… except there’s no sound. In this video, I walk you through 5 easy fixes that actually work, and I keep it simple so you can get your audio back fast. I start with the basics that people skip all the time—making sure volume is up and mute isn’t on—because that alone fixes the issue more often than you’d think. Then I show you where LG TVs usually get tricky: sound output and settings. I go into Settings > All Settings > Sound and make sure “Sound Out” is set to “Use TV Speaker,” because if it’s pointed to HDMI or Bluetooth, your audio is literally going somewhere else. I also check the Balance slider in Advanced settings and set it back to the center (zero), since being stuck to one side can make it feel like you have no sound at all. If that doesn’t do it, I do a proper power restart (unplug 30–60 seconds), check cables, disconnect external devices like soundbars/Bluetooth, and as a last step reset the audio settings back to default.
