AirPlay can be super annoying when it suddenly stops working in 2026—like you tap the AirPlay button and nothing happens, or your Apple TV/speaker just won’t show up. In this video, I walk you through 4 easy fixes I use all the time to get AirPlay working again, including a couple of things most people don’t even think about. First, I make sure my iPhone and the TV (or whatever I’m AirPlaying to) are on the exact same Wi‑Fi network—AirPlay won’t work if you’re on cellular data or if the devices are on different networks. Next, I check the AirPlay settings: Settings > General > AirPlay & Continuity, and I change “Automatically AirPlay” from Never to Ask or Automatic. I also make sure Bluetooth is on, because even though AirPlay runs over Wi‑Fi, Bluetooth helps your iPhone detect nearby compatible devices. If it still won’t connect, I restart my iPhone to clear small glitches, and finally I verify the other device actually supports AirPlay and has it enabled in its own settings.
