In this episode, I bring a little bit of the parks home! I 3D printed, painted, and assembled two Disney park-inspired lights: a sorcerer-style hat and a miniature geometric sphere inspired by the iconic park landmark. These prints turned into really fun and easy projects! After getting the parts printed, I did some painting and finishing work before installing the lighting bases so they could actually glow like display pieces instead of just being static prints. The end result is two park-inspired lights that look awesome on display and add a little bit of theme park magic to any room. ✨ Come along as I show the printing, painting, assembly, and the final results! ⸻ 🔗 Links & Credits Original Model Link, Mickey Sorcerer Hat: https://makerworld.com/models/1753547 Miquel204151’s Page: https://makerworld.com/@Miquel204151 ⸻ Want to print your own? 🛠️ Materials Used (Amazon Affiliate Links) • Loctite Superglue: https://amzn.to/4ujSHWg • Amolen Dark Blue PLA: https://amzn.to/4cFIWLQ • Sunlu Gray PLA: https://amzn.to/46RY2dt • Sunlu Transparent PETG: https://amzn.to/3OTjZ5M • RGB Puck Light with Remote: https://amzn.to/47onHuk • Energizer AAA Batteries: https://amzn.to/4rkuooB • Folk Art Acrylic Paint, Mother of Pearl: https://amzn.to/4bdk1wE • WD40, Original Formula: https://amzn.to/3PtMqXX ⸻ Recording your own build? 🎥Video Tech I’m Using (Amazon Affiliate Links) • MacBook Pro: https://amzn.to/4fUDiVJ • MacBook Air: https://amzn.to/4fYodlZ • Main camera: iPhone: https://amzn.to/3Kgci7p • iPad Pro: https://amzn.to/484Eioo • DJI Microphone: https://amzn.to/4fQZsYG • Lighting Kit: https://amzn.to/4mZvggp ⸻ 🛍️ Want your own piece of Tina Tries history? About This Video

In this build I wanted to bring a little bit of the Disney parks home, so I 3D printed two park-inspired night lights: a Mickey sorcerer-style hat and a mini geometric “sphere” that’s basically my tiny tribute to that iconic landmark. This was one of those projects that’s super satisfying because it goes from “pile of plastic parts” to “wait…that actually looks like a real display piece” pretty fast. I walk through the whole try-to-finish process—printing the parts, doing the paint and finishing work, and then getting everything assembled so it’s not just a static print sitting on a shelf. The big takeaway is that lights like this don’t have to be complicated. Once the prints are done, it’s mostly clean assembly, a little patience with paint, and choosing a simple lighting base so the glow does the heavy lifting. I used an RGB puck light so I could dial in the vibe, and I printed with a mix of PLA plus transparent PETG where I wanted the light to shine through. If you’ve been wanting an “easy win” 3D print that still feels like a real prop/decor build, these are perfect—and yes, they look awesome lit up.
