My friends, in this episode I’m sharing a first look at one of the largest double burner camp stoves I have ever seen—the Gas One Double Burner Stove. I’ve reviewed a lot of two-burner systems over the years, and what stood out immediately here was the size (it honestly looks like a piece of luggage), the build quality, and the price. You get two burner heads with electronic igniters, two butane ports, independent locks, and built-in wind protection around the burners. It’s a simple design, but it’s done right. A big part of what makes this stove interesting is the fuel: it runs on butane only. For most campers, that’s a win because butane is very inexpensive—around $20 to $27 for a 12-pack in the U.S.—and it performs very well in warmer conditions (and even in the cold if you warm the canisters up ahead of time). I also ran a real-world boil test in breezy conditions at around 60°F: two cups of water came to a boil in 5 minutes and 30 seconds. At 15,300 BTUs total (7,650 per burner), it’s not the highest output on paper, but in real life it’s more than enough for most cooking. The fit and finish are topnotch for the money, the case is excellent, and cleaning looks far easier than many grated two-burner stoves. And yes—the price was about $70 at the time of filming, which is hard to ignore.
