In This Episode we test the ALL NEW 2025 Ram RHO in the Florida Everglades with the Swede (our cousin). But the real question, is this better than Fords V6 Raptor? And does the RHO NEED a Hemi? About This Video

In this episode I took the all-new 2025 Ram 1500 RHO out to the Florida Everglades with Henrik on camera and Lukey (our resident Monroney-window-sticker expert) calling out the numbers—$88,000… and $100. We got the big question out of the way: this isn’t a TRX replacement, it’s a direct competitor to the V6 Ford Raptor. Yes, the Hemi attitude is missing, and yeah, I know that’s what everyone wants to argue about, but the Hurricane high-output inline-six is so smooth it honestly makes the old Hemi feel a little rough around the edges. I walked through the RHO-specific bits: the TRX-style widebody and hood, the required roof marker lights (this thing is over 80 inches wide), functional inlets, 35-inch Goodyears on 18s, Bilstein adaptive suspension, and the Ram 1500 coil-spring setup out back. Inside, it’s classic Ram: storage everywhere, dual wireless chargers, a great camera system, and comfort features you don’t expect in a “Baja bruiser” (massage seats, rear heated/ventilated seats, etc.). Then we put numbers to it. Using a RaceBox, our best 0–60 was 5.1 seconds (5.4 on one run), which is very respectable for something that weighs as much as a house. On the highway, I actually preferred Sport mode because Auto felt a little wallowy. Versus a V6 Raptor, it’s basically pick-your-poison—but the RHO’s refinement and interior make it a seriously compelling alternative.
