About This Video

In this fleet update, I’m walking you through everything we own right now—what’s been awesome, what’s been annoying, and which rigs are most likely to stay or go. We hit the highlights on each vehicle and give you the real story: the stuff that’s been dead reliable (like “Gary,” our Mazda 2 with 287,000 miles that basically exists to save everybody when something else is down) and the stuff that makes you question your life choices (looking at you, British oil leaks). A couple of these are getting dedicated deep-dive follow-ups, so this is the big-picture ranking and status check. We also cover my turbo ’05 Mustang GT that’s a stock-internals 3V making “just under 500 wheel” on about 8 psi—never leaving—and Greg’s 2019 Expedition Platinum “Platty,” which became a rocket ship on a FiveStar tune (and yes, it’ll still roast tires because it’s 2WD). Then we get into the Ranger build that’s been everywhere—Colorado towing in boost for hours, off-road parks, obstacles it had no business on—and why the Firestone Destination XTs completely rewired how we think about all-terrains. Finally, I’m honest about the LR3: it wheels insanely well and rides amazing, but it’s hemorrhaging oil and needs a punch-list that’s basically more than the truck is worth… and I still can’t quit it.
