Windows 11 collects your data through telemetry, forces Copilot on you, and invades your privacy with hidden settings. I used one free app to disable all of it—the tracking, the AI, the bloat—and my PC runs completely different now. About This Video

Right now, Windows 11 is collecting your data through telemetry, pushing Copilot, and hiding a bunch of privacy-invading settings that also end up slowing your PC down. In this video, I show you how I disabled all of that with one free tool: O&O ShutUp10++. The best part is you don’t even need to install it—just download the .exe, run it as admin, and you’re in. I walk through the “Current User” vs “Local Machine” sections, and I recommend going Local Machine so the privacy and telemetry changes apply system-wide. I use the Actions menu to apply the recommended settings (after creating a system restore point), and you can literally see it shutting off stuff like advertising ID, activity history, diagnostic data, app permissions, and a ton of Microsoft Edge tracking/AI features without digging through endless menus. Then I jump into the Copilot tab to disable Copilot functionality and remove the Copilot app entirely—plus it can even disable Recall on supported PCs. If you want a more private, cleaner, and snappier Windows 11, this is one of the fastest wins you can do—just don’t skip the restore point because you can break things if you go too aggressive.
