Microsoft just published an article admitting Windows 11 has been a mess and they made seven promises to fix it. Movable taskbar, less Copilot everywhere, no more forced updates, faster File Explorer and more. Some of these you can already fix right now for free I'll show you how. But can we actually trust them this time? I scored every single promise. About This Video

People are leaving Windows—developers are switching to Linux, regular users are buying MacBooks—and Microsoft finally noticed. In this video, I break down Microsoft’s new “letter” where they make seven promises to fix Windows 11, and I’m not treating it like charity. This is damage control, and honestly… good. Competition is the best thing that ever happened to Windows. I go promise by promise: a movable taskbar (top/side), less Copilot shoved into apps like Notepad and Photos, the ability to shut down without being forced into updates, a faster File Explorer, widgets that don’t get in your way, a clearer Windows Insider Program, and a redesigned Feedback Hub (which is already live). I also show you how to fix some of this right now for free—like moving the taskbar with Windhawk and removing Windows AI/Copilot entry points using WinSlapper (with a restore point backup). At the end, I score every promise and give Microsoft a 76/100: cautiously optimistic, but six out of seven are still just promises on a blog post—not features on my desktop.
