Performance-wise, it runs surprisingly well for an open-world shooter. Auto settings land you around a mostly-60 experience, but you can see dips in intense fights, even down toward the 40s. For the smoothest experience, I recommend a 45 FPS lock from the Steam Deck menu, then using a tweaked Medium preset: low shadows, 85% resolution scale, low particles, no wind-affected snow, and low reflections while keeping the game looking fantastic on the Deck screen—especially on the OLED where the contrast really makes the atmosphere pop.
