I’ll be honest: I normally don’t run a screen protector on my Steam Deck. The Deck isn’t like a phone I’m tossing in my pocket, I mostly play at home, and when I travel I’m careful and use cases. On top of that, my 1TB OLED White Limited Edition already has that etched anti-reflective glass, and in the past, every tempered glass protector I tried basically ruined the whole point—more glare, more reflections, and it just looked worse. In this video I install the JSAUX Obsidian AR Anti-Reflect Screen Protector and focus on the stuff that actually matters for the OLED: does it keep that anti-glare look without adding haze or grain? The big difference here is it’s using a PVD anti-reflect coating (more like what you’d see on camera lenses), not just a matte layer. I show the unboxing, the super easy install with the alignment frame (it took me 2–3 minutes, first try), and then the real test—how it looks in use. Reflections are noticeably toned down, colors still pop, blacks stay deep, touch feels the same, and the oleophobic coating makes fingerprints easier to wipe off. For me, that’s why this one actually makes sense on the 1TB OLED.
