I walk you through my hygiene basics like deodorant, simple skincare, lip gloss (because your lips get so dry during labor), and the things I really feel are non-negotiable postpartum. I also share what I’m doing differently this time: keeping my routine realistic, not overpacking, and focusing on what will actually help me feel clean and comfortable at the hospital (because your real shower is going to happen at home, okay). I talk postpartum must-haves like adult diapers, Tucks pads, and an angled peri bottle—because the hospital didn’t give me what I needed last time, and I was so thankful I came prepared. I also show baby essentials (neutral sleepers since we’re not finding out the gender), what I’m packing for going home, and why snacks and your hospital documents + a pen are a must.
