Good morninggg — in this vlog I’m basically on a mission to turn our living room into my Pinterest moodboard. I’ve been saying I want a new couch for over a year, and I finally found the one at The Brick Outlet on Kennedy Road (Curtis had to approve, of course). Once the couch was secured, the next battle was the rug… and let me tell you, it was a whole situation. I drove around to so many stores (HomeSense, Home Depot, even Costco), got my hopes up, got orders cancelled, and still couldn’t find “the one” until the Lord really worked in my favor and I spotted the exact pattern I’ve been looking for at HomeSense for way cheaper. I also set up Everly’s toddler bed because my girl is turning one in like two weeks and that mini crib really did its thing. I kept the bed in our room because she’s not sleeping through the night yet, and I’m not doing the “down the hall” wake-ups. Plus, I’m sharing cozy home touches like my flameless candle setup in glass vases (it looks so nice at night), my plan for the negative corner space (frames, an accent chair, lamp, arch mirror), and a little faith moment from my early morning time with the Lord — obedience matters, even when the instruction feels annoying.
