“[Music] hey guys welcome back to my channel s Beauty here and I'm back with another video in this video I'm going to show you guys what I'm packing in my hospital bag for baby number two this is my second time around I'm going to be showing you what you actually need um or maybe what I actually need this time around I did pack a bunch of stuff the last time and I'm literally bringing what I I already have my bag packed so I'm just going to show you guys what I'm bringing with me okay so first things first is the bag I'm bringing which is this bag that I just got off of Amazon it's like a Weekender bag I wanted something that was spacious but not too big and also something that was affordable so I actually got this off of Amazon maybe like 3 years ago and I used this for when I was pregnant with my son 2 and 1 half years ago and everything fit in there so I'm going to use this bag again I use it literally every anytime I'm like traveling or anything like that or I need to pack like something like pack up for the weekend or whatever I use this bag tried and true I'm going to link it down below everything I show you guys in this video I will link it in my description box so very spacious a lot of compartments there's even like a little compartment here that's kind of like waterproof I usually keep things in here that might like say it has a potential to open and I don't want it to spread all over my other stuff that's what I keep in that compartment there but I'm going to start with hygiene and stuff like that I'm going to be bringing this body wash here it's just a dial um common soothe body wash to be honest I do not use this I don't ever use this body wash but Curtis was like let's just bring this one so I said okay we'll bring it I have like a Sal hair body wash and like some other body washes that I like but I don't want to bring them because they're so big so I wanted like a little small mini like whatever body wash but he said we'll just bring this one so whatever we'll just bring this so maybe I'll just get like a little travel size like bottle and put this in there but as for right now this is what we're going to be using for my lotion I'm going to use this necessary body lotion preferably fragrance free everything but like I said this time around I'm like I'm using whatever because this shower that you take at the hospital it's it's like it's good but it's not that serious you're going to come home and do your real shower but at the hospital you're just trying to get clean okay you're going to still want to take a nice shower because you feel so ill after you have your baby and when they say yeah you can go take a shower yes take your time take a shower but your real shower is going to happen when you get home I stopped using this I haven't used this maybe in a year okay but I have it so I'm going to use it and I'm going to bring it with me because my other lotion is a little bit too big you must must must bring some deodorant self-explanatory I'm bringing my native deodorant this is the sensitive one it's a cotton and Lily so I really like this I've been using this for this scent specifically for a few months love it I'm also going to be bringing my bio oil if you know you know okay this is my second bottle of the pregnancy and as you can see it's pretty full so I'm going to use this all the way until it's finished when I found out I was pregnant the last time I started using bio oil all the way until postpartum like way after I had my son I was continuing to use it I did see a few little um stretch marks on my stomach but those went away very quickly like within like 2 months they were gone I didn't really have much to be honest and I still say it's because of this okay so it's important to use it before during and after I'm not bringing like perfume perfume but I still do want to smell good so I'm going to bring my soul de Janeiro 887 this is a newer scent for me it smells so good and I don't have to use a lot of it like maybe one or two sprays and that's pretty much it I'm keeping my skin care so simple because like I said it's the hospital I don't need to bring all my stuff I'm going to do my real deal when I get home I'm going to bring my cave hydrating face wash and then I have this Charlotte Tilbury magic cream I'm just going to use this as my face moisturizer all I'm going to do is wash my face and moisturize my face and that's it obviously you need toothpaste and a toothbrush these are this is just like a little disposable toothbrush that I have just in case like I don't want to bring my legit toothbrush just in case you know I don't know I don't know if it's going to fall on the ground and I throw it away anyway so I have this disposable one you can get one from the dollar store I already have these cuz my husband has a bunch of them from um Amazon like a pack of these for my hair my plan is to have a sew in I had a sew in the last time I know usually braids are the thing but I just I don't know I just can't can't do braids I'll probably have braids in for 2 weeks if I did do braids but a sewing was perfectly fine for me I actually kept my sewing in for quite some time and I got it reinstalled again and again so I'm going to do a sew in again so with that being said I don't have to bring much I'm not bringing a flat iron and stuff like that I'm just bringing my paddle brush I'm bringing a comb I'm also going to bring some dry shampoo just in case just in case my hair gets a little greasy from labor and then my Bonnet I'm going to be bringing a claw clip and two hair ties and that's it I'm just going to bring some lip gloss this is like $2 at the beauty supply store and then I'm bringing um hand lotion as well self-explanatory okay during labor to your lips get very dry so yeah bring some lip gloss bring some lip balm I prefer lip gloss you bring what will moisturize your lips the best don't forget to bring your prenatal okay it does not matter you need to take these every single day until it's finished I just bought another bottle of these like my prenatals just ran out in December I just read up on a new bottle of them this one this one has been the best one for me okay I'm also going to be bringing some of these depend adult diapers with me these are mandatory okay more so if you're having a vaginal birth C-section I don't know but vaginal birth mandatory you must get some of these and bring them with you I didn't think it was that serious when I was having my son I'm like I most likely won't be wearing these but guess what I wore these until the pack was finished and I didn't bleed a lot I didn't tear I didn't bleed more than like six to seven days but I wore these all the time they're so mandatory and why I say to bring them is because the hospital gives you nothing the hospital gave me nothing okay so I was so thankful that I had these in my bag just because I brought them just because and I actually ended up using them I would also say bring some Tucks these are the witch hazel pads you can use some of these witch hazel pads to put on to line your diaper with or to put on your pads last but not least for hygiene you have to bring a Parry bottle I'm bringing this Freedom mom Perry bottle there are so many on Amazon that are much cheaper too I think like $10 you can find some for now the hospital they do give you a Parry bottle but it's more like it's not angled like this one like it doesn't squirt up into you the other one is like you squirt it upwards right this one was way way way way better I highly suggest this type of Perry bottle that you can put upside down and just you know do your thing I'm also bringing this tumbler with me with water in it I brought this super big like massive water bottle the last time I drank like no water from it barely any water and then when I got home from the hospital I didn't care to have that big massive water bottle with me if you have a Stanley Cup cool bring that this is what I have it's from like the dollar store I don't even think I even drank like this much water when I was in labor last time I was in too much pain to even think about water you're going to need Slippers With You preferably rubber type slippers I brought these exact same Crocs last time time and I'm bringing them again they're tried and true okay when you take your shower you need to bring some rubber slippers Okay so [Music] [Music] as for clothing I'm keeping my clothes in this packing Cube so I'm going to be bringing um this robe with me it's very stretchy very comfortable it's probably one of the most comfortable robes that I have I do have another one that's for um like if you get wet it's like a towel robe I might bring that one I might not last time I brought it I bought it and I brought it I thought I was going to want to do like a water birth type situation no so I'm just going to bring a regular Rob with me and that's it obviously you need some underwear I'm bringing these with me I actually just bought these ones I got them off of Amazon they're the hannes underwear I don't ever wear underwear like these and I think I said this in my last hospital bag video but they're like if you wear these type don't take any offense but I don't know I did appreciate these type of underwear the last time because when I had to wear um the pads like after you wear the diapers you then transition over to the pads and these were the the underwear that were like the best for those maxi pads and stuff I'm bringing a few but I don't think I used them the last time but I'm bringing a few just in case I will be bringing a nursing bra with me I'm not sure if I will be breastfeeding this time last time I breastfed only for 1 month and then we moved on to formula because I didn't produce enough milk to breastfeed for a long time so it is what it is but I don't know what this time will bring so I do have nursing bras ready to go these ones are from Amazon I've been wearing them ever since I got them they're very comfortable stretchy it's just like any other nursing bra like Clips off and on I'm only bringing one because I will be wearing one to the hospital I packed a washcloth and then I also am packing um my exfoliating towel I also have one night gown that I'm packing and I might pack one more pajama this one is from Joe Fresh so I'm going to be packing this with me pretty comfortable long sleeve as well and then I have two pairs of socks and then for my going home outfit I'm bringing this gray t-shirt it's supposed to be like a skims type of dupe I have my aritzia track set that I just got I don't know if you guys have been keeping up you know I just got this maybe like a month or two ago I think two months ago actually it's a cropped like boyfriend fit um zip up and then also the wide leg it's like these wide leg joggers I'm so excited so excited to see I'm not saying I'm going to be skinny day one okay but I'm excited to see how this fits without a baby in my stomach okay because cuz I've been only wearing this like I I've been wearing this for a part of my pregnancy but now I'm at the point in the pregnancy where like I'm just my belly is too big okay so yeah I'm bringing this with me [Music] for the baby I'm bringing this little packing Cube here so I'm bringing some diapers these are just the um Pampers swaddler brand um I'm bringing newborn because my son he was small when he came out he was 6”
