In this video I do a quick-and-dirty unboxing and first look at the RG RX-93-V2 Hi-V Gundam before I jump into a full live build. I’m basically asking the same question everybody’s asking: is this kit worth the money and the wait? Right out of the gate, I’m checking the box art, the poses, and some of the design choices—like that “wonky” leg pose they used to show off the squat, plus the knee separation detail that I don’t usually see presented like this. Then I crack it open and inventory everything: seven baggies and the instruction manual. I flip through the manual pages, call out the sticker placement, and go runner-by-runner so you can see what you’re actually getting—armor parts, inner frame, weapons, hands, shield pieces, and the fin funnel setup. I also point out a couple things I’m not thrilled about, like the injection gold being a weird yellowy-gold that I’m not keen on, and I note there are a ton of stickers. The big takeaway: the molding detail is absolutely packed—“so many freaking details”—and I’ve already got plans for modifications that I’ll get into during the live stream build.
