In this video I’m checking out the MU6 Ring open-ear Bluetooth headphones that were sent to me to try out and review. Let me get that out of the way: getting them for review doesn’t sway me, and I’ll tell you straight—these have been freaking awesome. I’ve got them on most of the time because they just work really good, and for the price they’re honestly some of the best “company-sent” headphones I’ve had. I walk you through what comes in the box (headphones, quick start guide, micro-USB charging cable, and reflective grips), then I show the headset itself and how it’s meant to sit. The sticker mentions bone conduction, but these are really air conduction/open-ear with little drivers that aim sound into your ear when you rotate them into the right position. That design lets me hear my surroundings while still getting solid sound (yes, even bass), which is great for everyday stuff and moving around. My main nitpicks: I wish it charged with USB-C, the charging port flap is a pain, and the blinking LED is bright enough to be irritating at night (gaff tape fixed that). Battery life surprised me—I've seen around 16 hours of mixed listening and some calls—and call quality has been solid with no complaints. If these died, I’d buy another pair.
