Well hello hello—today I’m giving you a long-term, real-use review of the MORENTO HY4866 air purifier, not an unboxing. I picked this one up after we adopted a new black Bombay kitten and did the “proper” cat introduction thing (separate room, all that). The downside was our bedroom started smelling like a kennel—not because it was dirty, just closed up with a cat in there all day for a couple weeks. I needed something that was the right size, at a good price, and could actually handle odor and dust. After running it since late January (it’s March 6th in the video), it’s been phenomenal: zero odor issues, and it caught way more dust than I expected for a bedroom. The air quality reading went from around 35 down to a steady ~0.5 to 0.2, and we’ve genuinely been sleeping better. I go over the touch controls, auto mode, sleep mode (whisper quiet), timer, child lock, and the filter life indicator dots. I also call out one weird/frustrating quirk: my soundbar remote can accidentally change the purifier speed or even turn it off. Overall though, for the money, it’s been a game changer for the bedroom.
