In this video I finally crack open something I honestly should’ve unboxed two, two and a half months ago: the INMOTION V5 electric unicycle. I bought it before my accident, and since it’s past the return window, it’s time to see what’s actually in the box and whether it feels worth the money. I’m an electric-vehicle nerd (I’ve got a modded Wolf Warrior scooter sitting in the garage), but I wanted a simple, affordable EUC to learn on—plus I’m probably handing this one off to my coworker Rex, like I did with the WOWGO 2 skateboard. I go over the real specs (and correct myself): the V5 is rated for about 12.5 miles of range, 12.5 mph top speed, 450W motor, 14-inch wheel, IP55 rating, and a 265 lb max rider weight. I show the manuals, app support, warranty info, and the included ankle pads, charger, and the wheel itself. I also point out little real-world stuff: the anti-spin/wheel lock button for carrying it, the shiny shell being a fingerprint magnet, minor scuffs out of the box, and my main concern—how the angled pads can push your ankles inward (which matters for me with old hardware in my ankle).
