In this video I did something a little different: instead of only talking about my own monitor layout, I went out and rated 11 real-world LG DualUp setups I found online. I looked at each one through two lenses that actually matter day-to-day—usability and ergonomics. Things like: do you have a clear “main” focal point, are you forcing your neck to look up and down all day, and are you creating a weird bezel/bar right in the middle of your vision. My biggest takeaway is still the same: the LG DualUp is usually best as a side reference monitor, not your main display. I liked the setups that had a clear main panel (like a 32-inch or even a big 42-inch OLED/TV idea) with the DualUp placed closer to the centerline so you’re not constantly pivoting your head. I also talked about why rotating the DualUp sideways can defeat the purpose, and why picture-in-picture can be a cool demo feature even though I personally don’t like cutting my usable screen in half. If you’re building a productivity desk setup, this is basically a checklist of what to copy—and what to avoid.
