In this video I’m talking about what I genuinely think is the end-game Quest 2 accessory: the Kiwi Design all-in-one Comfort, Battery, and Audio Head Strap. The Quest 2 accessory market has gotten massive over the last couple of years—comfort straps, battery straps, audio upgrades—but the annoying part has always been you can’t really pick and choose. This one basically says “why not all three?” and, in my opinion, it does it better than anything else I’ve tried so far. I compare it directly to what’s been my go-to recommendation for ages, the BoboVR M2. Straight away the Kiwi strap feels like it’s taking things up a gear: sturdier build, premium padding, and a battery built in at 6400mAh (a solid jump over the 5200mAh you see on Meta’s Elite Battery Strap and the Bobo battery). Comfort-wise it’s properly luxurious—soft foam like premium headphones—and it locks in with a nice firm fit. The biggest surprise is the audio. Those on-ear speakers are clearer, richer, louder, and give a wider soundstage than the Quest 2 built-ins, while also blocking out more of the room. Add pass-through charging, cable management, and the included cleaning cloth, and for me it wins in basically every category—this is staying on my headset.
