Upgrading the 5th Gen Toyota 4Runner (2010–2024) tail lights is one of the easiest mods you can do—and it makes a HUGE difference in real-world visibility. In this video, I install the FORM Lighting LED Tail Lights (smoked), show the startup sequence, and demo the running lights, turn signals, and brake lights so you can see how bright they are (especially important if you run a tire carrier, jerry cans, or rear gear that blocks visibility). One key tip: make sure you plug in both connectors (including the gray plug)—if you skip it, you can get hyperflash on your turn signals. ✅ FORM Lighting Tail Lights (link): https://www.formlights.com/2010-2024-toyota-4runner-led-tail-lights-pair.html Tools you’ll need: - Plastic trim pry tool - Deep 10mm socket + extension - Ratchet Install overview: - Pop the interior access cover - Remove the two 10mm nuts - Pull the taillight straight back - Plug in the factory harness + gray connector (prevents hyperflash) - Reinstall nuts (don’t over-torque) Optional: disconnect the black wire if you don’t want the startup sequence If this helped, subscribe for more Toyota 4Runner / overland/lighting installs and drop a comment with what tail lights you’re running! #4Runner #Toyota4Runner #FormLighting #LEDtailLights #5thGen4Runner #Overland
