In this install we’re in Plano, Texas doing a full living room refresh with Sony’s flagship XR77 A95L 77” OLED and the Bluesound PULSE SOUNDBAR+ for a clean, high-performance setup. The homeowners were coming from an older Sony Bravia with in-wall speakers and an AVR, but they wanted to simplify everything, clean up the wall after patch/paint, and move to a more modern look with a new credenza and a streamlined audio solution. I walk through what comes in the Sony box, the different tabletop foot configurations, and why this TV is so sleek and low-profile (no big electronics box hanging off the back). We also go over connectivity—HDMI with eARC, 4K120, and even options like using an antenna for off-air TV that’s often higher quality than compressed streaming. On the mounting side, I’m using a Red Atom 4D-style mount because it’s easier to deploy and has more reach, plus the SAS-B1 soundbar mount with adjustable height so we can lock everything in cleanly. To tie it all together, I integrate the system with Control4 so it’s dead simple: Watch Cable, Fire Stick, or Blu-ray from the SR260, and one Off button shuts the whole room down.
