About This Video

Hey guys, Chad with Pure Media Systems. In this video I’m down in Dallas, Texas putting together what I call the ultimate sleeper living room surround sound system—clean, design-focused, and “living-room friendly,” but it absolutely rocks when you hit play. We start by replacing an older 55" TV with the new 75" Samsung Frame Pro, and I show you why the wireless One Connect box and the NeoQLED upgrade are a big deal. We also add a custom Deco TV Frame to really sell the “it’s a picture frame” look. From there, we build the audio side around Klipsch and Marantz, but we keep it discreet. The front stage is Klipsch Forte IV in American Walnut (book matched from the factory), paired with a Klipsch RC-64 III tucked into a Salamander cabinet that’s actually designed for speakers and ventilation. Surrounds are Klipsch Pro-180-RPC in-ceilings, so you get immersion without clutter. Electronics are a Marantz Cinema 60 plus a Marantz MM7025 for extra headroom on the front stage, and I walk through the cabinet ventilation and cable management so it stays reliable. Big takeaway: you can have a modern, mid-century modern aesthetic and still get real performance. We even start this one as a 5.0—no sub—because the customer wanted it clean, and the Fortes can pump out serious bass.
